For the third time this season, Charlotte 49ers freshman forward Chris Braswell has been named A-10 Rookie of the Week.
The 6-foot-8 Hargrave Military Academy product averaged 15.3 points and 10.3 rebounds in Charlotte's 3-0 week.
Braswell scored 16 points and pulled down eight boards in last Sunday's 63-61 OT win over St. Louis and scored nine second-half points and pulled down 10 boards in the team's 71-59 win over Richmond. Braswell capped off the week with a 21-point 13-rebound effort in Charlotte's thrilling win over La Salle. Saturday's double-double was his team-leading sixth of the season.
